Interview with Michael Gambarini, co-organizer of the Pentecostal Conference on Threefolding
Dear Michael, thank you for your time. A conference on Threefolding will be held in Zurich towards the end of the month (from May 26th to 28th). Can the Threefolding become an everyday practice or is it a sociological doctrine that gives rise to a veritable social utopia? Or in other words, do you experience the Threefolding in everyday life?
Yes, actually every day in the simplest interpersonal interactions, such as discussing the orders and the rules of an office in the team, or passing on knowledge and giving a piece of advice to apprentices and customers, as well as working out all the tasks according to specifications agreed contractually. But also by following the impulses of the young generation with interest, such as the longing for a new mutual cooperation based on justice, the new reversed hierarchy, which places skills and interest in a matter above age and legal authority, as well as the desire to work considering the true meaning of it and having an insight into the circumstances of the world in order to satisfy the true needs of others.
Which topic is the upcoming conference dedicated to?
At the Pentecost conference we want to create a basis on which one's own strength of initiative can be meaningfully placed in social life. Through exercises, self-reflection and clear conceptualization. We want to experience and recognize the threefold structure in a playful way and encourage participation in the current social challenges, be they small or large.
Many will be pleased that at such a conference the topics will not only be addressed through lectures, but also on the basis of various experiences. Who is the event aimed at?
This conference is for all people who have an initiative in their hearts and want to give/bring it to the world. We would like to explore the knowledge of one's own creative power and the healing contribution to the world around us that everyone potentially keeps. Both young people and adults who are young at heart are welcome.
What are you committed to with the Swiss Threefold Movement?
The understanding of the Threefolding is already inherent in the natural, unconscious striving of so many people. I therefore see the raising of the unconscious into daily consciousness as a central task. In order to see social life not only in individual parts without any connection, a mental overview is required, which puts the living laws in order with the inner free striving of every human being.
So we need the theoretical element next to the practical again. We look forward to the conference, with great interest indeed, and wish the movement every success!
